Frank’s Cider Bar and Cafe, is located in the historic, town of Franklin, just 40 minutes south of Hobart in the beautiful Huon Valley.
The former St John’s Church Hall is now a cosy cafe and the cellar door of Frank’s Cider.
Free tastings of Frank’s multi award winning ciders, complement the local gourmet menu on offer. Prepare to feast on seasonal delicacies such as smoked salmon from the pristine Huon River, and fresh Tasmanian scallops.
Seasonal fruits are the focus of the dessert menu, with cider featured in many dishes such as Frank’s famous apple cider scones.
Frank was the third of six generations of the Clark Family, who have tended “Woodside Orchard” since the 1830s.
Discover this history as you wander through the incorporated Jane Franklin Memorial Museum, while sipping a sparkling cider. You may then take a stroll along the banks of the Huon River after your delicious lunch.
Takeaway cider sales and great coffee are also available.
