HERITAGE SAILING TASMANIA ~ SV RHONA H

Located in Hobart, Tasmania

Hobart Waterfront, Hobart, Tasmania, 7000

0407 169 633

"SV Rhona H" is a traditional tall ship. She is a Gaff-rigged Topsail Ketch.

"Rhona H" was professionally built by Tasmanian shipwright Ned Jack in the best of timbers, Huon Pine over Celery Top frames.

She fished commercially until converted for charter work in 1989. This classic, strong and capable sea boat with two water tight bulkheads is now located in Hobart.

As well as half day sails on the Derwent River, full day sails to Kettering, longer trips to Bruny Island and Port Arthur, we will offer programs for individuals and small groups.

Charles and Julie are re-establishing the art of traditional sailing and skills: knots, splicing and fancy rope work.

No sailing experience is required; guests can choose to help sail or sit back and relax. Fabulous photo opportunities!

Overnight accommodation is cabin style with single bunks. Each passenger has their own bunk with a privacy curtain.

All linen is supplied, special diets may be catered for with prior discussion with the Ship Operator.

One Day Conference and Group Tour packages are available. Treat yourself to a memorable Sightseeing Trip, Sailing Cruise, scrumptious lunch and return to Hobart.
