Southport Lagoon Campground is a campground in Southport Lagoon Conservation Area, managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania.

This campsite has 4WD access only. ​​​Ten individual campsites are provided near the north-west edge of Southport Lagoon. Each campsite is numbered and camping must only take place at these numbered sites.

Campsite bookings are not required, and fees do not apply. The maximum stay permitted is one week. The maximum capacity of the entire campground is 40. You will need to bring your own water. Dogs are not allowed in the reserve.

Rescherche Bay/Cockle Creek Campgrounds

Rescherche Bay/Cockle Creek Campgrounds

Rescherche Bay/Cockle Creek Campgrounds include a series of campgrounds in the Rescherche Bay Nature Recreation Area near Cockle Creek, managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania.

At these campgrounds you’ll find tall eucalypts to the waters’ edge and a number of sheltered campgrounds to choose from. Sites are not numbered so please try not to spread out too much and allow for others to utilise the campground as well.

Bookings are not required. Camping fees do not apply. A four week maximum stay applies.

Boltons Green Campground

Boltons Green Campground is a campground within Southwest National Park at Cockle Creek, managed by the Parks and Wildlife Service Tasmania.

​​Cockle Creek is a very popular destination for families, offering a variety of recreational activities such as bushwalking, swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, fishing and bird-watching. This is the only campground situated within the National Park. Approximately 10 sites are available here for tent and caravan camping. 

Bookings are not required and fees do not apply. A four week maximum stay applies to camping.
