Win a month of FREE Electricity thanks to Aurora Energy

Running alongside Dark Mofo and Paint The Town Red residents across Tasmania are invited to join in the fun & festivities from home.

A red light in the window. A full front yard glow. Something subtle, something bold. Help make your street, your neighbourhood, and the whole region glow a little differently this winter.

Paint Your Home Red

Paint Your Home Red, supported by Aurora Energy, is the residential side of Paint the Town Red, the campaign that sees businesses, public spaces, and landmarks across Tasmania light up red in the spirit of Dark Mofo

No paint. No pressure. Just lights.

Go all out with a full front-yard glow, string something red along the verandah, or keep it simple with a single lamp in the window, either way, you’re part of something bigger.

The more homes lighting up across those two weeks, the better it looks for everyone.

Light Up Your Home

Thanks to Aurora Energy, five standout homes will each win one month of free electricity through the Power Hours program.

Winners will be chosen based on creativity, visual impact, and overall presentation, so whether you go big or keep it beautifully simple, it’s about how it all comes together and getting involved.

  • Winners receive their Power Hours credit after the event and judging.

  • You’ll need to be an Aurora Energy customer, or be happy to become one, to redeem the prize.

  • Employees of Aurora Energy and their immediate family are not eligible to win.
