A charming chamber concert showcasing some new faces and old friends.
The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra’s second Woolmers concert for the year begins with a delightful sonata from Mozart, which he wrote for Italian violinist Regina Strinasacchi. He felt she played expressively and tastefully, and the same can be said of the TSO’s wonderful new violinist Tobias Chisnall. You’ll also be treated to an enchanting nocturne from French composer Lili Boulanger.
Tobias, pianist Karen Smithies, and remarkable horn player Claudia Leggett will then present a trio that Brahms composed in honour of his mother. You are sure to enjoy this charming music in Woolmers, and the talented players look forward to hearing about the piece you like the most.
