From the 10th – 12th of January 2025 the small town of Cygnet, located in Tasmania’s stunning Huon Valley will again play host to the annual Cygnet Folk Festival.
One of Australia’s most iconic folk music events, the Cygnet Folk Festival is a showcase of eclectic music genres featuring both Australian and international talent, dance, poetry, masterclasses and workshops, circus and roving entertainment, children’s entertainment, food, wine, art and local handicrafts; all set in the breathtaking scenery of southern Tasmania.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
