Join me, Ella Jackson, for a creative deep-dive into the world of leather crafting with this immersive 6-hour apron-making workshop. Whether you’re passionate about design or simply looking for a unique, hands-on experience, this workshop will guide you through the process of crafting your own custom leather apron from start to finish.
I’ll walk you through each step of the process, from selecting premium leather to cutting, assembling, and stitching your apron using professional tools. You’ll learn key leatherworking techniques and add personalised touches to create an apron that’s both practical and stylish—perfect for wear in the kitchen, workshop, or studio.
This workshop is designed for all skill levels, so no prior experience is necessary. All you need is enthusiasm and a love for creating something with your hands.
The workshop will be held daily from 10:00 am and can be booked via the website. Exact address will be provided upon booking. Bookings are available for individuals and pairs.
This isn’t just a workshop—it’s an opportunity to connect with your creative side, learn a new craft, and walk away with a beautifully handcrafted apron that’s built to last.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
