Scout’s about to meet their maker – whether they like it or not.

A bad night can feel like it lasts an eternity. When Scout Boxall gets stranded in a regional Victorian town without their medication for the first time in 12 years, they’re forced to muster every bit of psychological strength to survive until sunrise. God’s Favourite is a darkly-funny descent into the labyrinth of manic withdrawal.

Scout’s maze takes them on a series of temporal twists and turns, from life in the Middle Ages to the deepest recess of online existence. On this substance-free bad trip they’re forced to accept their own mediocrity and come face to face with God.

God’s Favourite was an instant hit at Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival Fringe in 2025, where it invited audiences inside the brain of its creator, to take front row seats for their psyche’s unravelling and recomposition.
