A rollicking good singalong!

Join Hobart Sea Shanty Sessions for a free, rollicking good time that is open to all.

The first couple of shanties will be led by experienced sea dogs, to get everyone into the swing of things. After that, anyone can have a go at leading a shanty – the shanty master will wander around with a belaying pin and if you’d like to lead, just let them know. If you’re given the pin, you’re next!

If you’re not keen on wearing the captain’s hat, come along and join in with your sleeves rolled up and ready to sing. Shanties are for everyone, even if you believe you can’t carry a tune in a bucket!

Due to venue licensing, people under the age of 18 may only attend when accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.
