Sea Shanty Singalong

Way, haul away! Get ready to sing along to your favourite sea shanties as you embark on a musical adventure with The Stranded Wailers and Up She Rises at the iconic Willie Smith’s Apple Shed.

Stamp your feet along with rollicking upbeat tunes, and then be transported by soulful and passionate ballads. Joining in is encouraged – or just sit back and let the joyous waves of harmony wash over you.

Sea shanties became widespread in the 19th century as a method of coordinating manual labour onboard large sailing vessels. These songs, or chants, of the sea, shore, land and tavern often had simple refrains and improvised verses. Due to this, sea shanties have recently enjoyed a popular resurgence, and they are the perfect material for a fun singalong!

Ticket price includes a two-course meal of hearty soup, crusty bread and hot apple pie.

Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. Other dietary requirements can be catered for upon request.
