Music that makes you feel something. Join the global resonance as Mona plays host to five unique drone and ambient artists making music that stretches around the world and awakens tiny vibrations in-between your bones.

Artists will play simultaneously across the museum grounds, culminating in a performance on the Mona lawns by the Tasmanian Midi Orchestra at 1pm.

Featuring:

PARKER
Tash Parker is a Lutruwita/Tasmania-based artist producing immersive ambient soundscapes using her voice and found sounds. The result is an experience that feels at once grounding and transcendent.

Matthew Magnus
Improvised slow evolving and repetitive compositions that create a hypnotic, deep listening experience.

Spectrical
A duality of drone, warm, earthy tones dissolving into otherworldly soundscapes of frozen planets.

Ambient Failsafe
Ambulating daydreams, nostalgic trips, and undulating stereo fields.

Tasmanian Midi Orchestra
A collaborative collective of local electronic musicians, specialising in experimental, electronic, and unclassifiable sonic landscapes.
