We know Tasmania is a great destination. You know Tasmania has so much to offer. Now this has been proven on a national level with Tasmania scooping more than a third of all medals on offer at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, held in Adelaide tonight.
The biggest award goes to the gentleman of the Australian Tourism Industry, Robert Pennicott of Pennicott Wilderness Journeys, who has been been awarded the 2014 Australian Tourism Legend. This award could not go to a more deserving bloke, who has put in over fifteen years of hard graft to build both his own business and the tourism industry in Tasmania (and Australia overall) as a whole. Well done Robert!
