If you’re missing going out to your favourite local eatery, we feel you. Thankfully, many businesses are offering their goods for pick-up and delivery.

There’s no need to go without your favourite Tassie wine, cider, cheese, chocolate, or handcrafted wares when you can get them delivered straight to your door (eating is one at home activity we are getting very good at—we must keep up our daily walks).

We’ve put together some tips on what’s available. This is by no means an exhaustive list—just a few options to get you started! You can browse tonnes of listings from all around the state on the new Buy Something Tasmanian website. Why not look up your favourite local businesses and see what they are offering?

There’s nothing quite like sipping on vino or enjoying a tipple when it’s cold outside and you are all rugged up in front of the fire.

Wine

Wine Tasmania have put together a one-stop-online-shop with special offers for delivery. Many Tasmanian wineries also have their own online shops, including:

Spirits & cocktails

Deliver yourself a spirited night at home:

Cheers to you and your iso buddies:

Takeaways & ready-made meals

Many cafes and restaurants are offering takeaway pick-ups and deliveries, so look up your favourite local haunts and see what the go is.

Some businesses are even offering ready-made meals, such as Bruny Island Premium Wines, Bar & Grill and Frogmore Creek. Fine dining delivered to your home—too easy!

Browsing Uber Eats is another good way to see what’s available in your area.

To the best of our knowledge, the info we’ve included was correct at the time of publishing. If 2020 has shown us anything, it’s that things change! Please check directly with the businesses on what they are currently offering.
