This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.
You will be the only ones to stay here. The camping area is located behind the shack, which won’t be occupied so guests are free to use the picnic table, clothesline and general outside area. The beautiful safe beach is over the road, just a 20-second walk. Very close to the shops, playground and public toilets Parking is in the back area.
It is a very large house block so there may be people staying next door. If towing a caravan you will most likely need to reverse in, so it’s best to arrive in the morning before 11 am or after 3 pm as sometimes cars park close to the driveway entrance around lunchtime, making access a little tight.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
