The park features a vast expanse of open space and showcases an old fort complex, complete with tunnels and storerooms. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the River Derwent, extending north to the Tasman Bridge and the city, and south towards the South Arm and estuary opening.

On-site facilities include bins, a car park, a dog bag dispenser, and seating. Please note that dogs are permitted, but only on leads.
