Stay on the waterfront, South Bruny Island, in bohemian luxury. Enjoy endless panoramic ocean views. Mat and Caroline have converted the art studio into a spacious private guest house. Caroline’s original painting marks cover the walls, now displaying her work. Antique rugs adorn the floors. Stroll a few metres across the garden to the water.
The house was converted from an art studio to accommodation in 2020. The walls and skirting boards, for posterity, were deliberately left will all the marks and paint drips from years of making paintings in the space, with everything was thoroughly washed and renovated for its new incarnation as guest accommodation.
The house is stylish, extremely comfortable and very close to the water, with large north-west facing decks that get some of Tasmania’s best ocean views and sunsets. Every part of the house has beautiful views. Mat and Caroline live on the property in the main house, and Caroline has a working studio shed behind the Arthouse Bruny guest house. You will have total privacy, as the buildings are all totally separate.
