Callington Mill Distillery is located in the historic sandstone village of Oatlands, Tasmania. A distillery on a scale like no other in Tasmania and offers immersive and unique single malt experiences. The distillery is open seven days a week, 10 am to 4 pm.
The ‘cellar door’, also known as the distillery’s restaurant, will take you on a journey of the Tasmanian experience: world-renowned fresh seafood, locally sourced meat and fresh produce. There are several vegetarian and gluten-free options available, as well as charcuterie and cheese plates.
The ‘serendipity experience’ includes tasting five premium cask strength raw whiskies with crafting and a tasting guide to assist you in creating your own unique Single Malt Whisky. You can add a unique label signed by you on a 700ml bottle of your own cask strength single malt whisky. This experience also includes a self-guided distillery tour.
Self-guided distillery tours around the distillery are available during opening hours. Learn about the history of Callington Mill through video and audio installations.

The Heritage Tours are available, free of charge. The mill and the precinct have been lovingly restored, transforming the historic site into an interactive tourist experience.
