Captain Cook Holiday Park is ideally situated in the heart of Bruny Island directly opposite stunning Adventure Bay Beach and within walking distance to the multi award winning wilderness boat cruise and the many varied walking tracks in the National Parks. We offer villa style accommodation with uninterrupted views of the Bay, family cabins with large covered decks and budget on-site caravans with annexes.
Our powered sites are large and the camping areas offer plenty of room for families or friends. Both have access to our large camp kitchen which is fully equipped and offers a wood fire for those colder nights.
There is a large playground, kayak and pedal car hire for the kids with the beach in front free to swim, fish, boat or play cricket.
Whether your interest is in fishing, bird watching, bushwalking, fine dining, wine tasting or simply reconnecting with your partner and family Captain Cook Holiday Park will provide the perfect setting.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
