The Coal River Valet Explorer Bus is the official tour of Richmond Village and the Coal River Valley. Travel back in time to the village of Richmond, home to convict-built churches and Australia’s oldest bridge. Travel through Southern Tasmania’s wine region, to Richmond, a charming village full of historic sights, unique antique and giftware shops, and charming cafes.

Tour Includes: 4-hour return tour, informative local guide commentary, free Richmond Map, exclusive attraction discounts for activities, shops & cafes, free WIFI onboard

Ticket options: two (2) tour ticket options:

Option 1 – Richmond Village Ticket
* This 4-hour tour takes you on a journey through Tasmania’s fascinating history and scenic beauty. It includes 3 hours to explore historic Richmond Village, with exclusive attraction, shopping and dining discounts

Option 2 – Explorer Ticket
* Combine your visit to Richmond with an experience option of your choice and explore more of the Coal River Valley – Option of a Wildlife Visit (Hobart Zoo and Aquarium), Wine or Whisky tasting (Nocton Winery or Killara Estate) or a Gourmet Food visit (Wicked Cheese)

(Attraction entry fees, food and beverages not included with ticket purchase. Tastings may incur an additional fee)

Departs: 12.30pm from the bus stop located outside the Tasmanian Travel and Information (corner of Elizabeth Street & Davey St). Sunday – Friday.
