Nestled in Tasmania’s pristine bushland, Eagle Ridge Retreat offers a unique fusion of luxury and wilderness. Perched on the same breathtaking property as the Raptor Refuge, this eco-friendly accommodation is inspired by Tasmania’s largest birds of prey, the Wedge-tailed Eagle and White-bellied Sea Eagle. Each pod features stunning interiors, local artwork, and modern amenities, including a gas fireplace, underfloor heating, and a kitchenette.
Guests enjoy views of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, Bruny Island, and Fluted Cape, along with opportunities to spot native wildlife like Bennett’s wallabies and soaring raptors. While access to the Raptor Refuge is not included, guests can book a guided tour to deepen their connection to conservation efforts.
All proceeds from Eagle Ridge Retreat directly support the Raptor Refuge, a not-for-profit dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating Tasmania’s birds of prey. Escape, unwind, and make a difference.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
