Eaglehawk Pavilions are two modern, self-contained pavilions on the hillside above Tasmania’s world famous Eaglehawk Neck. Just 45 minutes from Hobart Airport, Eaglehawk Neck is the gateway to Tasmania’s convict past. Walk down to the Officers’ Quarters and the infamous Dog Line or take a short drive to Port Arthur Historic Site or the Saltwater River Coal Mines.
In the evenings, enjoy the spectacular views over Pirates Bay from the deck while enjoying dinner prepared either on the BBQ or indoors. After dark, make use of the unlimited wi-fi Internet to watch a movie and recharge.
Eaglehawk Pavilions are extremely private (including from each other) and are ideal for a romantic escape or as a base to explore everything the Tasman Peninsula has to offer.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
