Fig Place is designed to maximize the stunning view and preserve the existing trees, with added bird boxes and a fountain in the yard. Prioritising ecological values in every aspect of the house design, using natural products and extra insulation. The living room/kitchen area features TasOak flooring and Brazilian granite counters. The covered verandah with glass balustrades offers a constantly changing view and fresh breeze.
Fig Place is kid-friendly and offers a generous pantry for guests to use.
The owners take pride in providing a 5-star clean space, with meticulous cleaning between guests. The house has a fully functional kitchen, modern bathrooms with toiletries, and comfortable beds made of Tasmanian oak and natural cotton with heaters, fans, and a wood pellet heater for winter. Using organic cleaning products on site, there is also a vegetable and herb garden for guest use. Wallabies visit the yard regularly.
