Enjoy camping in serenity with beautiful views of The Great Western Tiers, forest, and creeks. Glenbourne Farm is 1200 acres of forest and farmland. The area available to campers is approximately 280 acres in diameter. Disconnect from the everyday pressures and enjoy peace and quiet, wildlife, and farm life. Trout in the streams, abundant birdlife, and the smell of eucalyptus forest await.
Pitch your tent or pull up in the caravan with a choice of private campsites. All campsites are located close to trout-filled creeks in a scenic bush location with a view of The Great Western Tiers. We are conveniently located 35mins from the airport, 30mins to Launceston, and 40mins from the Highlands with many world-renowned trout fishing lakes. If you get tired of camp food we are only a 15 minute drive for a meal at the Bracknell Pub or the Ringwood Hotel and Rustic Bakery at Cressy.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
