Step inside Handmark and discover a gallery that has celebrated an extraordinary range of Tasmanian creatives since 1980. The much-loved gallery exhibits paintings, ceramics, glass, jewellery, wood and textiles, sculpture, works on paper and more. Across decades, Handmark Gallery has exported pieces to collectors and clients all over the world.
Director and passionate Tasmanian, Allanah Dopson is recognised globally for her knowledge of Tasmanian artists, many of whom have gone on to be represented in national and international galleries as well as government and private collections. Allanah continues to curate the ever-changing works of new and established artists and craftspeople through solo and group exhibitions held throughout the year. You’ll find Handmark Gallery housed in the historic sandstone walls of the Salamanca Arts Center.
