House on the Hill Sandy Bay

With lots of space, inside and out, and fantastic views, House On The Hill is great for large groups or those just wanting some extra space. A perfect holiday retreat, beautifully furnished, very well equipped and just a 5-minute drive to Hobart CBD. Recently renovated, come and enjoy this gorgeous home for your next getaway.
We have had to implement the following policy due to a number of recent guests disregarding our house rules and creating unacceptable levels of noise at the house, causing a disturbance to our neighbours. Parties will not be tolerated.
Relax in the large, sunny living room, taking in the view through the extensive windows. Glass sliding doors lead out onto the huge deck where you can chill out on a sun lounger and watch the constantly changing activity on the river. Budding chefs can cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen.
The house can sleep up to 12 guests across five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement.

As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.

We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
