The Boathouse cottage is located in scenic Desolation Bay, in the far south of Tasmania. Situated at 589 Esperance Coast Road it has absolute water frontage, a mooring in the bay, a nearby boat launching ramp and spectacular views.
The Boathouse accommodates two people in a double bed plus a double futon. It is equipped for self-catering with light kitchen facilities including a refrigerator, microwave, electric frypan, kettle, toaster, gas-barbecue, electric heating, reverse-cycle air conditioner, electric blankets, television & DVD player, NBN WiFi, (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) clock-radio, hair-dryer and more.
Conveniently located halfway between Geeveston and Dover, just before Police Point, it is an hour’s drive south of Hobart (80 km) along the scenic Esperance Coast Road. It is an ideal base to visit the spectacular Tahune Forest Airwalk, Hartz Mountain National Park, South West Wilderness, Hastings Caves and Thermal Pool to name just a few of the many attractions this region offers.
