The cottage is set in a rural area on acreage and is surrounded by Scott’s rivulet, just outside the historical town of Geeveston, Tasmania just a 45 minute drive from Hobart. Part of its charm is the peaceful surroundings and the presence of their friendly animals, a miniature donkey and pony, sheep, miniature goat, ducks, geese, turkeys, chickens and of course their resident platypus.
In the town, you will find a supermarket, bank, lovely coffee shops, post office, several local craft outlets, library, Wall of Lollies and the visitors centre. The property offers comfort, privacy, peace and tranquility.

As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
