Lake Leake Boat Ramp

There are two boat ramps on Lake Leake, in Tasmania’s Northern Midlands.
Northwestern corner, near the dam wall of Lake Leake.
Anglers are reminded that when fishing from a boat on Lake Leake within 100 metres of an angler fishing from the shore is prohibited unless the boat is securely moored.
Please do not park on or obstruct boat ramps.
Lake Leake, a low-altitude freshwater (466m), is fed from the Snowy River and feeds the Elizabeth River that runs to Campbell Town. The fishery is managed by the Inland Fisheries Service. The lake is regularly stocked to maintain the quality of fishing. Angling methods at Lake Leake include wet and dry fly fishing, trolling, lure casting and bait fishing.
Pest Fish Redfin perch are present in lake Leake. If caught, anglers are asked to humanely kill the captured fish and dispose of it appropriately.
The Day Use area includes public toilets, BBQ facilities, picnic tables.
There is a small campground.
