Lower Midlands Art and Old Kempton Distillery present “Kempton Artlands”.

Old Kempton Distillery and Lower Midlands Art are proud to present the Kempton Artlands Exhibition.
Now in its 6th year, it includes some truly incredible works of art from local Tasmanian artists.
This is the biggest year yet with 63 pieces of art entered along with 24 pieces from feature artist Catherine Stringer. The exhibition is now open to the public 7 days a week from 10 am to 4 pm until Sunday 17th October.
Old Kempton Distillery also boasts a cafe, filled with locally made produce, a Cellar Door and gift shop, tours and tastings.

Live music and $10 cocktails are available every Sunday. It’s always free to enter and we encourage you to vote for your favourite artwork and enter the raffle to win a $250 Kempton giftpack.

All artworks can be purchased so come along and have a look.

We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement.

As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.

We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
