Lumière Lodge is a uniquely designed home brimming with colour and character. Watch the seasons whisper in through the homes antique windows, indulge in whiskey by the fire, or slip into the clawed foot bath and bathe under the light of the stained glass window.
The cottage is located in the leafy green suburb of West Hobart (a two minute drive from Hobart City). The home accommodates one to six guests. With three bedrooms all with their own private bathrooms and seating areas, guests are bound to feel at rest here.
It is easy to dash out on foot and grab a quick coffee or bite to eat but, the charm of this grand home may tempt you to stay in and cook. At night stunning chandeliers, roaring fires and antique oil paintings create the perfect evening mood and social space. Lumière’s traditional English kitchen is well equipped with chefs knives, induction stove top, full steam oven and combination microwave oven. A rambling cottage garden with courtyard, dining setting and BBQ are perfect for the summer months.
While staying guests can peruse a list of fine wines and purchase from the collection. To accompany, locally made cheeses, Agrarian Kitchen preserves and spirits are complimentary.
