Omaroo House is an 1850’s renovated cottage. It combines the best of modern convenience with historic charm and will make your stay in Hobart a memorable one. This property has just had an amazing renovation & extension to the rear of the property not noticeable from the front. Omaroo House is located on the edge of the CBD within the Heritage precinct of Hobart’s top-rated suburb West Hobart and is only a five to ten-minute walk to the city, Salamanca and Constitution Dock.
At the front of the house, there is a lounge room to get away from the kids that sits next to the main bedroom. There is a lovely open lounge, dining and kitchen area with stunning panoramic views of the Derwent River and hills. You will see yachts racing a couple of days of the week and cruise ships regularly in the warmer months.
The new kitchen is spacious, fully equipped with a Microwave, Gas Cook Top and dishwasher, the dining table seats six. There is a BBQ and as the deck is covered it can be used all year round.
Two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and the third bedroom has a single bed and a rollout trundle. Omaroo House is child friendly having a portacot, high chair and a separate bath.
