Risdon Brook Dam is situated in Risdon, Tasmania, approximately a 16-minute drive from Hobart.
The dam supplies much of southern Tasmania’s drinking water. The reserve features barbecues, a picnic area, and play equipment. Visitors can help protect water quality by being environmentally responsible, staying on designated tracks while walking or cycling, and using the provided toilets.
Facilities include free electric BBQs, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
