Welcome to Saigon Art Gallery, a space that celebrates three generations of Vietnamese artistry, blending tradition with contemporary influences. Our journey began with our grandfather, a master in wood carving and printmaking in Vietnam, whose dedication to the arts inspired our family to explore diverse styles and mediums. Today, our family artists work across disciplines such as wood carving, lino printing, oil painting, and lacquer, each reflecting our rich cultural heritage.
While our roots are in Vietnam, we have also found inspiration in Tasmania, Australia. The serene landscapes and unique wildlife of Tasmania have profoundly shaped our artistic expression, creating a distinct style that harmonizes the vibrancy of Vietnamese culture with the tranquillity of Tasmania’s natural beauty. Our gallery showcases this fusion, offering a unique experience that transcends cultural boundaries.
At Saigon Art Gallery, our vision is to create a space where art connects people, fosters appreciation for cultural heritage, and inspires future generations. We invite you to visit us and explore the harmony of cultures and landscapes that define our work. Your presence and support are integral to our creative journey, and we look forward to sharing our passion for art with you.
With gratitude, The Saigon Art Gallery Family
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
