Salamanca Lawns is a popular open space situated in the heart of Salamanca Place. It forms part of the Salamanca Market precinct and hosts events such as the Taste of Summer Festival and Dark Mofo’s Winter Feast.
The lawns are approximately a four-minute drive from Hobart’s city centre.
Facilities include a drinking fountain, picnic tables, seating, shaded areas, and provisions for dogs on-lead. The lawns are also recognised as a historic site.
