Sandown Park is a well-utilised sports ground situated within Long Beach Reserve. It is used for soccer in winter and little athletics in summer.
When no sports or activities are taking place, the grounds can serve as an off-lead exercise area for dogs.
Facilities and features include a car park, dog bag dispensers, provisions for dogs both on and off lead, recreational facilities, and a drinking fountain.
