If you feel like going for a wander, you can spend hours exploring the bush and native grasslands on the property and if you’re keen on climbing the hill you get rewarded with amazing views over the Great Western Tiers. Why not take your mountain bike up there and enjoy the downhill ride afterwards? Sunsets are spectacular at Stringybark and the skies phenomenal during clear nights. Although it feels like the end of the world, surrounded by bush and wildlife, we’re only 30 minutes drive from Launceston CBD, Ben Lomond National Park and Josef Chromy’s winery and only a 20 minute drive from Launceston Airport, making it a perfect base to explore Launceston and surrounds. You need to be fully self contained and there are no amenities.
