The Agrarian Kitchen Eatery

The Agrarian Kitchen Eatery opened in June 2017 in the small town of New Norfolk in the beautiful Derwent Valley as a dine-in restaurant.

Our offering is made using seasonal ingredients sourced from our farm located just down the road in Lachlan as well as local farmers, fishermen, and small growers.

We make our own kefir butter, wood-fired sourdough bread, ice-cream, cheese, charcuterie, pasta and more.

11.00 am for lunch Friday + Saturday + Sunday
(advance bookings are essential)

In The Eatery we only offer a dine-in set menu priced at $120 pp ($130 pp from 1 December 2021) excluding beverages offering guests a uniquely local food experience, enjoying a number of courses featuring a selection of produce grown at our farm and sourced from a network of Tasmanian producers.

Visit our website to make a reservation.
Advance bookings are essential to dine in The Eatery.

11.00 am to 2.00 pm weekends only

The Kiosk is perfect if you’re looking for a more casual offering suitable for the whole family. Outdoor seating available on the front lawn on picnic tables or bring your own picnic blanket.

In keeping with our philosophy, we source local ingredients and make everything by hand including sausage rolls, focaccia, biscuits and cakes.  Coffee, tea, cordial, wine and beer are also available.
