Visit the studio gallery of artist and photographer Emma Coombes, set within the gorgeously restored Balfour House and part of the working artist collective, The Artisan’s Hand.
Emma Coombes is a Tasmanian fine art photographer known for moody, painterly compositions that move between landscape and still life, weaving native wildlife into atmospheric, narrative-driven scenes.
Emma’s work has been shortlisted in state and national juried art awards, and spans moody, atmospheric Tasmanian landscapes, playful studies of Australian native animals, and dramatic still-life compositions, with occasional forays into illustration and fantasy.
Located in the picturesque village of Cygnet in Tasmania’s Huon Valley, the gallery sits within a vibrant creative community rich with artists and makers. Visitors will find easy parking, along with excellent coffee and food just moments away.
