Red Robins Nest is a charming rustic tiny house in the bush, just 10 minutes drive from Hobart CBD. There is a queen loft bed, kitchenette space, shower and access to a pit toilet available. It is a unique place to stay in a beautiful setting. Located just 15 minutes drive from the MONA Museum of New and old art which is popular for many, with plenty to see, do and eat on site.
The famous Salamanca Markets are on every Saturday from 8.30 am to 3 pm where you will find fresh produce from local farmers, hot coffee and delicious breakfast and lunch options, lots of gift ideas and plenty of handmade products.
Explore the many bays and recreation reserves along the Derwent River, the perfect place for a picnic on a sunny day. For those feeling more adventurous, we are located 40 minutes from Mount Wellington Nature Reserve offering trails for walking, horseback riding and cycling, plus rock climbing. The summit of Mount Wellington offers stunning views across Hobart and is well worth the visit.
