Wild Trek Tours – Tasmania

Wild Trek Tours offers true wilderness experiences with fully guided trekking tours of the famous Kokoda Trail as well as Tasmania’s world-renown Overland Track and the South Coast Track. Added to this is also Wilsons Promontory Northern Circuit in Victoria, and many others as well. All treks are guided treks with two experienced guides, offering participants an experience of a lifetime.
Tick these treks off your bucket list while soaking up the scenery and the unforgettable trekking adventure. Singles, groups, and families are all welcome.
Tasmania – The Overland Track is rated one of the 10 best walks in the World. This is an iconic trek through the pristine Cradle Mountain area of Tasmania through to Australia’s deepest freshwater lake at Lake St Clair. Spectacular scenery awaits you every day.
Tasmania – The South Coast Track is a walk for more experienced trekkers, through the wilderness areas of South West Tasmania. A light plane trip from Cambridge airport to Melaleuca starts the trek, then trekking to Cockle Creek, crossing rugged landscapes, including The Ironbound Ranges, multiple river and creek crossings, pristine landscapes, and untouched beaches.

We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement.

As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.

We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
