Where to Find Food and Drink Around the Tasman Peninsula

The drive south from Hobart is part of the experience, with plenty of good reasons to stop before you reach Port Arthur.

Dunalley and the South East are particularly good for vineyards, distilleries and waterfront dining, while Bream Creek and Boomer Bay add more cellar doors and locally made spirits to the journey.

Further south, Eaglehawk Neck has casual coastal stops and coffee with a view, while Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula offer restaurants, cafés, wineries and distilleries close to many of the region’s major attractions.

Opening days can vary, particularly outside summer, so it’s worth checking directly with individual businesses before setting out.
