They are a Founding Partner of the Friends of Bonorong fundraising group, which supports the rescue and care of injured wildlife, and delivers educational, conservation and research initiatives. A portion of the sales of their Last Sanctuary Gin is donated to the Handfish Conservation Project.

Derwent Distillery is a small-batch spirits producer situated on the banks of the Derwent River. Guests can visit their cellar door for personalised tastings in the distillery itself which presents an authentic opportunity to see the distilling process in action. Tastings are also available in their store in Battery Point, Hobart.
