Assemblage is an inspirational accommodation venue that offers a unique lifestyle experience in Tasmania, 4 km from the Hobart CBD. The New Town Post and Telegraph building, built-in 1891, houses Assemblage Boutique Art Bed & Breakfast, Assemblage Curated – Art, Design, Home and Assemblage Workshops. The Dispatch cafe is also onsite.

This unique environment, overflowing with hand-made objects and artworks, clever ideas, great food and a passion for creative life set us apart. It is a place to be inspired, where visitors relax and enjoy the delightful indoor and outdoor spaces. The four bedrooms on the upper level are elegant in style while being reminiscent of Parisian artists’ garrets.

The property can be accessed from New Town Road at the front, where there is immediate access to public transport, or from Valentine Street at the rear, where there is street parking available.
There is accommodation for up to 10 guests in four rooms, with two individual private bathrooms. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen. There is a fridge and tea and coffee facilities in each room. Linen, towels, bathrobes, toiletries and art materials are provided.

Look out for upcoming Assemblage workshops in design, art and self-discovery. Workshops can be organised for groups on request. Visitors to Assemblage can request group workshops or retreats in advance.
