Daytripperz Tasmania

Frogmore Creek Vineyard, Hobart. Personalised tours tasting wine whisky gin cheese oysters

Daytripperz commenced operating in 2017 as a retirement plan to keep Tasmanian IT Manager Hans and his primary school teacher wife Jane busy after their five children had flown the coup. Known as a leading provider of personalised, small group tours in Tasmania, specialising in day trips but also conducting multi-day tours for a diverse range of visitors.
Whilst we all hope that COVID never returns to Tasmania, as a provider of small group tours we believe that we are as safe as we possibly can be. Despite taking only small numbers of passengers on each tour, our prices remain very reasonable and good value.
Our most popular tours start from Hobart and usually involve alcohol (wine-tasting and/or whisky and/or gin) as well as different optional, gourmet eating experiences. Bespoke tours include less travelled and iconic Tasmanian destinations; including Crescent Beach, Cradle Mountain, Mount Field, Russell Falls, Bay of Fires, Wineglass Bay, Port Arthur, Bruny Island, MONA, Mount Wellington and Bonorong Park. Private tours may be tailored to meet individual budgets, preferred “activity level” and themes including; Wildlife, Scenery, Food and Wine, History, Culture, Family-friendly or Adventure. Tour itineraries can be adjusted during the trip.
All tours conducted by highly experienced, genuinely local and friendly guides; all with a sense of humour!
Vehicles include recent model European cars and minibuses.
