Hamilton Camping Ground is situated at 75 kilometres North West of Hobart, on the Lyell Highway (A2) that connects the state capital Hobart to the major tourist towns on the west coast of Tassie, Strahan and Queenstown.

Please note due to the temporary closure of the Council Office at Hamilton, camping fees will need to be paid via cash and placed in envelope supplied and deposited in box provided on-site. If change is required for the laundry and showers, the Hamilton Inn Cafe & Post Office can assist you at 10 Tarleton Street, Hamilton.
