Leighton House is a luxury farm stay set on 300 acres of spectacular farmland in Northern Tasmania. Just 20 minutes from Launceston and at the geographical start of the Tamar Valley Wine region. The beautifully restored 1840s homestead sleeps from 2 to 12 and features luxury amenities including – a wellness deck featuring a hot tub and sauna, an entertainer kitchen with top-of-the-range appliances, a pizza oven and BBQ, a traditional study with a record player, pool room, two indoor fireplaces, fire pit, river access, contemporary Australian art and antiques and a selection of games and puzzles.
The house is perfect for exploring Northern Tasmania including world class golfing at Barnbougle, Derby Mountain Biking, Ben Lomond Mountain Resort and the many historic towns of midlands Tasmania including Evandale just a few minutes away with its famous Sunday markets. The East Coast and Mona are also within driving range for a day trip if you want to make Leighton House your base for a longer stay.
