Motel 429 is in a prime position overlooking the picturesque River Derwent. Across the road is the entertainment and restaurants of Wrest Point Casino. The Motel is just minutes away from the University of Tasmania, the Derwent Sailing Club and the Sandy Bay Yacht club.
From Motel 429 it is a short drive to the Hobart CBD, Salamanca and the Docks where you will find great shopping, waterfront cafes, the famous Salamanca Markets and the ferry terminal for Mona. The shopping centre’s of Sandy Bay and Lower Sandy Bay also offers a variety of eateries and boutique shops. Sandy Bay Road is the start of the Scenic drive through to the Huon Valley and the South West.
