Guests enjoy a round-trip scenic cruise to Peppermint Bay Hotel while soaking up Tasmania’s spectacular scenery and savouring a delicious chef set lunch.
We depart from Brooke Street Pier taking in harbour and city views as we cruise our way through the River Derwent. Upon entering the calm waters of the d’Entrecasteaux Channel, we stop at a few spots of interest: ancient rock formations and if the sea life is cooperating we will see sea eagles, dolphins and seals. We then dock at the jetty to disembark at Peppermint Bay Hotel.
Overlooking the picturesque Bruny Island, it is the perfect spot to enjoy your lunch inspired by the produce from our own gardens and local growers. Our beverage selection is also testament to the talent and bounty of Tasmania, showcasing some of the best local wines, beers and spirits.
After lunch feel free to wander the grounds of Peppermint Bay and the village of Woodbridge, before the leisurely cruise back to Hobart.
A fantastic way to explore and devour Tasmanian by water, by land and by food.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
