This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.
Welcome to Sandford View Campground on 2.5 acres. A lovely getaway spot for anyone who loves the beach, bushwalking, biking and birdwatching. You can enjoy peace and quiet and listen to nature. The best part of our property is that we are only 5 minute walk to the Mortimer Beach and Tangara trail walking track. You can walk from our property to the bushland and beach. Local cafes, pubs and supermarkets are only a few minutes away.
Our house is at the back of the property. We are happy to keep out of your way but happy to offer you local advice. You must be fully self-contained with your own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with you on departure. Campfires are allowed on property subject to local council conditions. Please bring your own fire pit. We can provide power via extension cords or firewood for a small fee. Dogs welcome, but our fence is not secure. There is lots of local wildlife to spot so please be aware of your dogs.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
