Welcome to Blossoms on the Bay – a beautifully restored 1930s cottage in the quiet seaside village of Nubeena, only ten minutes drive from historic Port Arthur on the Tasman Peninsula.
Situated on a large allotment, enjoy beautiful views of Parsons Bay from the deck. Conveniently located near local shops and the quirky Lucky Ducks Cafe, as well as a short drive from the lavender farm, Fox and Hound Tavern, the Chocolate Factory, and the Convict trail. Come and visit our cosy home away from home.
The space is a beautifully furnished charming 1930’s restored cottage. We look forward to welcoming you to our cosy, spacious cottage on a large allotment to enjoy. Our property is frequented by local wildlife, and we have our own resident bandicoot family, see if you can find them. Please note that the toilet is located at the back of the property through the laundry and the floor may be uneven at times. We also have a cot, please let us know beforehand if required. Kids are most welcomed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single on top.
Our favourite thing to do in the evenings is to listen to our record collection which we hope you will enjoy as well and there are plenty of books to keep you occupied.
We acknowledge the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a destination that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors, Tasmania’s deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
